There's so much you can do with technology! I learn about something new every time I log into Edmodo. I was somewhat familiar with QR codes- though I personally never have used them. They were really easy, and fun, to create and I can see how useful they would be in the classroom. Augmented Reality is something with which I am totally unfamiliar with. I must say, though, that it is a pretty cool idea and very applicable. I'm still not sure I entirely understand it, but I may be open to trying to use Augmented Reality in the future. App Smashing--again, a new concept for me. I'm not still not exactly sure how it works, but I'd be interested to learn more about it.
Well, that's all I have for now.

Going Google
Ever since I created my first email account at the age of 13, I have used Yahoo. I sometimes use Google to look up something, but otherwise, I know absolutely nothing about Google. So when I had to suddenly "go Google" for my Media & Technology class, I was pretty lost. I got a new email, learned a ton of new tricks, and explored new apps. When the class was finished, I was feeling very overwhelmed. However, I think I could see myself using, and even enjoying, some of the Google apps. I rather like the Google Drive-which allows me to easily store, access, and send my documents, pictures, and files. While I have also never been a YouTube user before, I think that it would be a very helpful resource for a classroom. My father uses the calendar app, and I think it is a very useful tool as well. I don't think that I will really use the Translate, Wallet, Shopping, or Finance apps because they don't apply to what I need. Overall, I learned a lot of new information and tricks about Google that I hope I can use in the future.
